Kimberly-Clark Professional GBAC Scholarship Program
Terms & Conditions
April 22, 2020
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for all scholarships granted under the Kimberly-Clark Professional GBAC Scholarship Program, which is administered by ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association. All scholarships and awards will be referred to as Scholarships herein. By submitting an application for the scholarship, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
You must read and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety before you apply for your Scholarship. Industry professionals who receive a Scholarship may also be required to sign an individual scholarship agreement. Individuals must meet all conditions as outlined in the agreement.
Correspondence between the applicant and ISSA will be done primarily via email. All applicants must submit a valid email address to be eligible. Any changes to the applicant’s email address after submission of the application and without necessary cause, may result in cancelation of their application.
Any successful applicant may be required to show proof that they are employed by a firm operating in the commercial or residential cleaning industry as of the date the scholarship is awarded.
All professionals offered scholarships will receive an official email that outlines their credentials to enroll in the GBAC Fundamentals Online Course via the ISSA Online Learning Institute website. Scholarship recipients must complete the online course within 30 days of receiving their confirmation email. Failure to do so within 30 days will result in a $29.95 fee for the individual to retake the course and complete the post-course test within an additional 30-day period.
The Scholarship may not be redeemed for any goods or services other than enrollment in the GBAC Fundamentals Online Course.
Scholarships are awarded based on established eligibility criteria, which you must meet to receive your Scholarship. The eligibility requirements for the Scholarship are outlined on the scholarship program webpage, and ISSA reserves the right to grant Scholarships to eligible industry professionals at its discretion.
You may hold only one (1) Scholarship, and cleaning-industry enterprises may be eligible for up to a total of five Scholarships for active employees in their firms through this program. No individual shall receive more than one Scholarship.
Kimberly-Clark Professional and ISSA (i) are not responsible for and cannot provide you with financial advice on taxation matters; and (ii) are not responsible for the payment of any tax obligations on your behalf resulting from the scholarship.
If ISSA knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information when applying for your Scholarship, ISSA may reassess your entitlement to the Scholarship and deem you to be ineligible at its sole discretion.
